FC 3a:B is actually not safe but launcher punishable. If it was safe it would be game breaking ;)
who cares if an i12-13 (or is it faster) move is unsafe...
if used as a punisher it won t miss

this game has only 2 tier:
Broken and normal

Broken tier are made of absurd moves that everybody would see even on paper as unbalanced
Other characters can actually play the game between them.

P.S. btw i am failing at understanding why natsu is S tier @_@ its certainly strong but her main combo comes from bombs that are blockable on reaction (or TT)....
maybe i miss some other moves ._.
 
You will like this explanation:
Because it is stupid difficult to sucessfully execute on moves with little BLOCKSTUN such as Cervy 66A.

I was talking a situation where it's safe on block. You could use it as a "poke" for 80 dmg, frame trap after everything, SS killer (since the JF version tracks both sides, and after step you cannot block for 21 frames... lol the lack of step G in this game is really stupid) and what not... and he would always be safe.

Also, punishing -12~14 moves with standing JF Umbrella isn't as easy as you may think. You can mess that up and get punished for lots of damage (unless when you play against Ivy, lol)

BTW, I checked the edge master in Legendary Souls, his JF Umbrella was not tweaked in any way. It's still unsafe.
 
I know but it's still not the same =( I don't get why would they butcher stepG like that? Everytime you step at frame disadvantage it's a 50/50... and some characters get over 100 dmg from step killers in this game, lol.

well considering you can often gamble to block lows/duck highs the risk reward is broken.

As it is a certain character (related to kayane) who got an aGI, TC, TS, launcher for KO or half bar damage and even SAFE.

Not to mention cervantes Ba for 45.......

This game is awfully unbalanced.....i think ANY decent player could see when some moves are really broken...so i wonder how comes those went unnoticed.

Ring - you can still kind of stepG:
Step~a_b_k~[G]
An even better StepG is QS4G. The beginning of a Quick Step is backdash cancellable, and guarding after allows you block i13 AAs if you do this at +0. So basically, StepG is back and better than ever, it just takes timing and execution now. Things are the way they should be :)

wrong, just half cast have broken moves....probably less.
And those are either FAST PUNISHERS or SPAMMABLE moves at disadvantage who will land if opponent do anything other than block.

The one i saw:
cervantes, patsuka, leixhua, phyrritia, phyrrandra....its not giving everyone broken moves that you build a balanced game....
 
aPat seems to get 120~130 combo off a normal hit safe move with only half a meter, 90~100 without meter. I know just frame needs to be rewarded, but it's going a little to far.

10:38, the 1B:B(JF) is safe, and you can see in the video it's not even a counter.

Natsu either needs bomb + CE or get a CH on some slow/unsafe move to deal big damage, and still come up short compare to aPat. I just don't see Natsu being in the same tier as him, even factor in you will drop combo/JF with aPat.
