Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

For Soul Charge:

Any thoughts as to why certain characters (Cervantes, Seong Mina, Taki) had their soul-charge "brave edge" start with the camera zoom ?
Other characters like Zasalamel, Siegfried, Ivy had the same camera position for their attacks ?

Tira's looks more like an attack-throw that triggers on CH

Maxi I can't tell if its a new SC followup to wr A or a new LI (not sure)move available in SC (where he side steps and does basically a wrB+K animation)
His juggle looks to be a SC move from BL ?

So did Shen Chan really not got a spot on the invitational even though he got second place?

Seems bad enough those already invited were allowed to enter the SEA tournament.
At this rate Skyll and the rest will be in the 128 last chance qualifier too...

I rarely reflected lows with Raphael's Arrierre Gambit aGI so it's good that they changed it so that it now reflects mids. It should have been like that from the beginning. In SCV, it reflected mids and I was able to do it quite often in that game. I want Amy to get at least one extra move that increases White Rose perception and a Soul Charge attack that hits grounded, to make her SC more threatening during oki. To me, her Soul Charge is gimmicky trash and easily the worst in the game. It's the only thing I don't like about her moveset.

*Actually, there are some other things I also don't like, but her Soul Charge is the major one. Whatever.

Yup, and to add insult to injury he was one of the people that pooled money together to fly Yuttoto down to the tournament.

The real issue is that Asia League made that single tournament worth 3 1/2 times the amount of the previous ones. It completely invalidated the league. The highest point total in the league was 290 and this tournament was worth 550. That's ridiculous. Even if you restricted it to players with league points someone with 10 points shouldn't be able to win it all in 1 tournament.

its not AG the animation is clearly quick parade 4B+K. Note that Raph doesn't begin to take a step back as he would if it was AG.

oh guys btw i dont know if any one noticed but there are monkeys in the background at minute 1:12 LOL
Good eye! You know, it's an incredibly small thing, but given that many fans have noted how static and non-immersive the stages are to date, it's the type of thing that gives you hope that they are really studying the feedback in detail and trying to address all areas where the game has been perceived to be lacking by the hardcore community. Fingers crossed that the meta we have at this time next year is at least somewhat more lively and rich with regard to the stages: certainly the game can only improve from here in that respect.

That's because you're a casual. Don't take that as an insult, we all have our specific reasons why we're invested in the game but for us that are deep into the mechanics the new moves are a huge deal because it changes the game plan of the characters.
Now it just leaves the question as to how useful will these new moves will be.
