Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

The biggest thing I hope they add on the HUD is a high/medium/low equip break bar gauge like was in SoulCalibur IV. Not sure why it's missing here.
Equipment break had a gauge in IV because in that game each equipment broken was equal +15% damage, with all three broken adding an extra 5% resulting in 50% extra damage.

On the premium version, I don't think the extra 40 bucks will be the season pass, that type of version always come with a special box, soundtrack and an artbook. I would think the season pass will be around 20~30, maybe less depending on how they will deal with DLC.

What's gonna be in this collector's edition? Guesses?

I quite liked the book cover for SCV. Not a big fan of that silly Ivy bobblehead for the Gamestop bonus though.

-Aluminum box decorated with SCVI logo
-A poster of the box art
-A figure of Sophie or Mitsu
-ArtBook (Maybe a exclusive hard cover version)
-Maybe a card set or something like that
-Soundtrack fro SCVI and maybe one of the remastered OST they will put up as DLC

all that stuff and of course the Damp preorder bonus, gotta have that.

Maybe you get a season pass with all the dlc characters
Season pass is a given but you know they'll pad out that $99 cost with other extras too. Art book, soundtrack, some other trinkets, and of course "exclusive" launch DLC, like some kind of CAS parts again.

Whatever it is, the important thing is that the cover will probably not have Geralt's mug plastered all over it.
After Tekken 7 and Dragon Ball FighterZ, there is no reason to realistically expect a season pass in the Collector's Edition.

I was reading through the comments and was going to post the same thing you did, but you beat me to it. So instead I'll just reiterate that this line of thinking is what you should be expecting first realistically in case that is what happens since Bandai Namco doesn't mind including Season Passes separately from fancy Collector's Editions.

Do we already know who will be the main antagonist? Will Inferno be back? Or will it be malfested Kilik? maybe Groh's daddy?

I will be glad with a come back of Night Terror.

No one knows specific details Yet. but Okubo confirmed the story is going to center around Kilik, Groh, and other new characters.

I am pretty sure it encompasses after the events of the trio vs Nightmare as well. This was Siegfried's bio which makes it seem like they will touch on him after he gets defeated.

"After losing to Kilik and his comrades in the form of Nightmare, Siegfried awoke in an unfamiliar place and he is now unable to free himself from the unforgiving memories of his time spent as the cursed sword’s puppet. The memory of having killed his own father is haunting him. His true nightmare has only just begun… Full of regrets, he is looking for redemption and he desperately wants to free himself from the cursed sword’s grasp!"

Sounds to me like it's gonna be an MK9 situation where they revisit the first few games and change a few things.
