Yoshimitsu Web Theater.

Well, Hajime already said the same thing I said about stepping Sets...not to mention that I also play her (which is how I also said the same thing about 4A punishment). I just go off what gives me problems, but, whatever. If no one's listening there's no point in talking.

I think in general 33B is just easy to step to BOTH sides. But i would prefer Clockwise Furzy, just as LP said. Like Ring said the tracking is bad, the problem is Wavedash Cancel into 33B, since i get you between two steps. Step wont be the final answer to Setsuka, i can say this for sure. You already stepped 33B in a manner that yesterday i was scared to spam it last like times. 4KB whiff punishing was much better this time.

In the last vids (new ones) i used MUCH less 33B because of this, switched more to 1BB 1AAA basic mixups like belial adviced. Furzy had my 33B spam pretty good under control imo. Still WRA, aB max range, 11A, throws, all good tools to teach him not to step too much.

@ Hajime

I dont care at all if the camera angle switches for A+G, still i get the combo almost perfect. Its enough time to just wait and see in which direction you have to do Umbrella. Watching the videos Furzy should definetely break more A throws than B. The B Command Throw is much harder, especially with some lag. There shouldnt be any preference against Setsuka in breaking throws, except depending on ring positioning. Both Throws are equally good imo.

I just go off what gives me problems, but, whatever. If no one's listening there's no point in talking.
lol no need to go into "victim stance" ^^ I just wanted to be sure :)

@Docvizzo: I do not agree. Breaking B throw is usually better IMO, even when the opponent never misses the A throw (like you). After an A throw, you can just Air Control Back and be at a good distance from Setsuka, where you can't really after the B throw. That, and the damage.

I may be rolling this into an anti-Setsuka thread shortly to keep this thread uh...less cluttered. Can't say uncluttered, because it already is pretty cluttered.

Hype on the yoshi forum ^^ me like

Yes!!

9B+KK works from time to time, but it's see-able on reaction, and after a while he'll just wake up when he sees the animation so no good after a while. I abused 2Ks on the ground in the last vids :)

It's only see-able on reaction if you don't do it right away. If he commits to rolling, it's free. And, the risk versus reward is WELL in your favor. Your 9B+KK damage is far greater than his AA punish. Besides, if DocVizzo (or anyone else) rolls to avoid stuff like 2B and gets away with it, he's not going to change tactics because he's expecting 3B, 9B+KK, etc. (unless your meta game runs that deep. Your mileage may vary based on the situation, of course).

In my experience, once you make it clear that you're going to consistently hit an opponent on the ground, they're going to start getting up. And if he still lays there and waits for your attack, just tap bG. As long as you've convinced him you won't take his bullshit, he'll get up. And if he doesn't get up because of this post, then keep hitting him until he does. Btw, you'll find tapping bG to force him up and then using T4 can be highly effective.

Btw, 8WR clockwise is just as effective as step against Setsuka at that range.

LostProvidence: We should've played more at FSAK, man. Let me know if you ever come out to NorCal.

DocVizzo: I meant in general on the whole A+G thing. Obviously a player must adjust as needed. I'd still much rather eat A+G all day as opposed to 214B, JF Umbrella. >_< Anyways, how do you know this isn't just mine and Furzy's plan? I may be really just posting useless shit in a conspiracy to help him outsmart you with our mind games!! muahaha.

Lol, i havent lost one FTF the last fifteen sets at least, if THIS was your plan than you guys succeeded :) Nevertheless if we dont agree on everything its still good there are some discussions going on, the forum is pretty dead^^ Furzy has to pick what he thinks makes sense :P

Just a little tidbit, but Furzy, you ALWAYS do that damned unblockable at 23; it's like you can't control yourself! I mean, Doc kept eating it, but yeah. >_>

No i don't :) when I think he expects it I'll get a free CH BB, ask doc, we laugh about it from time to time ^^

The same thing happens with my brother and I when we play. I love how it's part of the Yoshi metagame. You can mess with people who start watching the clock. hehe

Doc, you should come with Furzy and Cliff in France in november.
So I can destroy all of you at the same time.

Furzy, I'll give you some tips... tomorow.

You are such a humble guy malek :) I will be in holidays in turkey till 24. November or something and at the first of Dezember i have to give my thesis to my professor, so i really dont know if i can come^^

But if there is any way i'll try my best...

Malek has scared Docvizzo so much he had to escape into Turkey. omg, Malek, why did you have to do this?!? How many times do I have to teach you, first you gotta be nice to them so they come to France hoping for a good game. THEN DESTROY THEM, so they run back in tears calling for mama. Thats how EVO champ should act anyways!

Woahhzz won the Jaxel Dome with yoshi! Congrats yo ;) Namu Power lol
Vids are on youtube, So far from what I've seen pretty nice.

I like your using the iMCF RCC 3B+K:B 9A+B2 set up ;) along with your ballsy tourney 4A just series combos, Rare you see yoshi's try that in tourneys, its really not that complicated so I dont see why more people dont do it, I guess because the recovery is random...

Either way strike one up for Yosh ;)

Well finally lol. I wanted a yoshi to place very high. Woahhzz, thanks a bunch.
Oh. Thanks for telling a bit of the yoshi info, RedDjinn. Now I await and dream a Seong Mi-na places high....
