[14] Master
For Alpha Patroklos and Pyrrha Omega not having alternate costumes, you could chalk that up to their inclusion in the first place being part of the incomplete game, and the same goes for Kilik, as I'm quite sure all three of those were shoveled into their roles without that being the original intent. If Zasalamel and Talim had been in the game, I imagine that Alpha and Omega wouldn't have been in those two slots. And I still think that Inferno would have been the male mimic, and Kilik would have had his own style, but that's really just speculation on my part.Speaking of keeping expectations low...
I'm not saying we won't get 2P costumes, but there were some characters in SCV that didn't get 2P outfits. Namely, the Alpha and Omega siblings, the three mimics, Dampierre, Algol and Ezio. That's actually like a quarter of the cast, at least if you go by the character select screen.
Would anyone be upset if this happened again? What if your main character only had the one outfit? Speaking as a Taki fan, I'd be pretty damn disappointed.
Edge Master and Elysium definitely had alternate costumes, though, not sure if you just forgot about those. Dampierre really should have had one, since he had one in Broken Destiny, but they didn't port that or his extra weapons over for some reason. Algol also feels rushed, with his weapons not being updated to the new forms of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur. Ezio isn't really special, since hardly none of the guests ever had alternate costumes. I think Heihachi is the only one who actually did; the rest were just recolors.
SoulCalibur VI shouldn't have these expectations at all, given they actually have time and ability to finish the game, unless god forbid another natural disaster should occur between now and the end of the year. I would be upset, as I'm sure anyone would be, if this game also ended up incomplete in one way or another, costumes included, but I don't think we have any reason to fear this being the case.
