Though for what it’s worth, they did insist we must buy the season pass to get all the content, because there’s no guarantee that the SoulCalibur IV and SoulCalibur V music will be available outside of Season Pass 2. It still isn’t and may never be, like the Collector’s Edition DLC from SoulCalibur IV never became purchasable on its own. There’s some snakery involved with DLC practices whether or not they’re actually forcing us to buy or not.

But...bluntly, so what? I mean, it's their prerogative to sell their content (their legal property) however they damn well wish. I mean the music is a very small part of that content for the average consumer, I presume, but for those who do put a premium on it, they have every ability and opportunity choose (at their own leisure) whether to buy the season pass for its collective value (whatever the hilights are for them), and it's not principally different from the mental calculus that any of us go through concerning whether or not to buy it.

Beyond that, that side topic doesn't really at all change the contours of the central point: that music is still going to be there in seven to ten months when the season pass is complete. So if one can't handle the wait for some of it, or is concerned that the ultimate shape of that content may not be to their liking, they should just wait to buy it. I mean, hell, they're more likely than not to get a price break on it in a sale at some point anyway. If one decides to engage in transacting for what is essentially a type of pre-order content, it's clearly a buyer beware situation. Whinging about the content not arriving instantly in the middle of a global disaster when one contractually agreed to wait on the developer's timetable is just pointless and reflects more on the person losing their mind over such a thing than it does the policies and behaviour of the developer.

I guess you have a point. Hwang will be the first man after the sea of boobs so he's bound to get usage unless he's trash tier.

Haohmaru doesn't count because he's 2D.

As for the low tier of popularity you showed off, the only chance they have is if they confine the pass to 4 characters. By releasing one character at a time it forces people to play the new character out of desperation for new content....

If they start releasing two characters at a time or have a 6 character pass some of the characters will undoubtedly get lost in the crowd (Lei, Anna, etc)

Though lets be honest nothing will save Dampierre, and Algol isn't worthy to be DLC. Kappa

I refuse to pay for a diaper man boss who can't be CAS when Azwel has a thong and is superior to algol in every way (including having a CAS usage)

I'm not saying that anyone is justified in their whining and complaining about the "delay" between Haohmaru and whatever's next, be it Setsuka or Hwang. I'm just saying that they've done their part to ensure people who care already bought the season pass, and in doing so, created a want from season pass owners to have the full pass as soon as possible. It's just human nature, I think, but painted in a really ugly light by those who can't contain themselves.
 
The sword loves tigers and on the Soul Edge (Soul Blade) the back is printed and on SC2 the armor is written in Chinese with the word "tiger".
In SC3, I decided to draw a picture of the tiger itself in a kimono if I liked it so much. Even in SC6, the sword is recommended by Tora.

I don't know the name or the actual origin of the Edge Master. 2P is a figure in which the inner evil is released and turned into an evil.
It is a character designed by Yasushi Nirasawa, a beloved illustrator.

Today I was playing the verus mode with the CPU. While I'm playing, I have on the 7Remake soundtrack. Just the fight music. And I'll pick a match up. Play out the entire song. Or try to complete a series of fights within the track. It lead to some entertaining matches. I had my speaker playing the soundtrack, and my internal with the music off in the settings. Idk try it out lol

So it isn't the end all, be all of information. Obviously Zafina has found good usage in more competitive play offline.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who does this haha. It's actually a lot of fun imo.
 
Honestly, we don't deserve okubo and the team. They are so good to us, even though the loudest minority are constantly screaming at them. It must be demotivating, but they are still working for us. Project Soul deserve medals, trophies. Let's remember that they were also the ones who got SCVI. At least the people here appreciate Okubo and the work project Soul do.

Wait... I just realized that I'm pretty much just simpinh for Okubo...
 
I saw a "war" the last days in Twitter about the DLC content and about Setsuka, some Setsuka fans were really rude to the developers, to Okubo the producer, to Hideo Yoshie who is the art director of SoulCalibur and to Takahashi who is the director of SoulCalibur VI, why? With this attitude nothing will be achieving! I am a hardcore Setsuka fan she is my main since SoulCalibur III, I mentioned and requested many times to Okubo, he and Project Soul took my message! After the leak which it had confirmed that Setsuka and Hwang are the last characters of Season 2, I felt really good, but even now I have my reservations! The answer of all of this mess, is that many people start to feeling bored with the game because the DLC's are late to be released, I understand and respect the situation, I felt like that too, but coronavirus "hit" everything, the developers were working from their homes and the studios were closed, we don't know in which phase is the next DLC and we can't know their plans! The only that we can do as fans is to wait and to get busy with our lives.

Sorry for my large feedback.

Okubo mentions that they "lost the announcement chance" due all cancelled events. This may suggest that the third DLC character is actually more developed than we thought, they just couldn't find the best opportunity to reveal it. Haohmaru situation was different: we all knew he was coming since August 2019. Thus, even if he was revealed on a event, it wouldn't be that shocking. However, the remaining DLC characters are still unknown, despite leaks claiming to have a clue.

I read it that way too, so instead of a soon, we may just get a trailer drop and available now situation.
