Soul Calibur 6 CaS Discussion

So a hastily made screenshot for a work-in-progress, but… here's Amy and Talim dressed as Raven and Starfire from the Teen Titans. =3

EDIT: Well, this screenshot's already out-of-date. =Þ I was able to adjust the stickers on Amy's body to completely cover her legs, thus allowing me to retool her outfit to appear closer to the cartoon (which also helps an issue I had with my "Poison Ivy"), and so I decided to give Talim the "Ladies' Boots," instead.

It'd be nice if the game had short socks that were bunched up at the top; I think the "school set" from SCIV had 'em. Granted, it'd also be nice if the dagger on the "Ladies' Boots" had its own color value instead of sharing the boots'.

I might drop the scale pattern from Talim's outfit…

If you're referring to the voice that Scheherazade had then I'm not sure where you're getting cute and sweet from lol.
Sure, she sounded young, but pretty much all of her dialogue was aggressive.
DON'T MENTION IT!!! IT MAKES ME WANNA KILL HER VOICE ACTRESS!!!

Hi, question:

Is there a way to transfer my costumes from a ID on another in PS4? To avoid remaking them all.

I have some costumes in my US SC6 and want to transfer them to my EU SC6 (they don't share save), reason why is i have the DLCs in EU version.

Can you share them one-at -a-time using Share Over Network in Creation from your US PS4 and then download via your Player License in the Network menu on the EU PS4, or is that an issue across the PS4 versions? (I'm on PC, so I cannot confirm)

I'll try but i don't think it work that way, thing is EU and US versions of SC6 are considered 2 different games.

I'll mention this purely as a factual matter as something I am fairly certain is technically possible, though I personally would avoid it, all factors considered. There's almost certainly a way to extract the game save file from the one machine, along with any metadata/header content that identifies the owner/account, edit that information and move it to the second. Now, first off, if you don't already know how to do this, the task would be laborious, even if someone talked you through it, and would likely require at least a small expenditure on hardware. I don't know the specifics of the process in the case of the PS4 and SCVI, but I suspect a certain someone here might. In any event, aside from the large amount of trouble you would go through, you would also run the small but potentially very serious risk of voiding one or more of your end user agreements pertaining to the use of your PS4's and your PSN accounts, particularly with regard to the target (EU) PS4 on to which the modified data would go, with all the obvious negative implications to your hardware and library of games/licenses. Depending on how many creations you have, recreating them may be less time consuming, but even if not, I can't recommend this kind of work around.

Unfortunately, I do think you're also out of luck on this one as far as the direct transfer method is concerned. That generation of hardware (and consoles especially / the general trend of media ownership models all around) is just not good for portability of content, and Sony arguably ended up being the worst offender. Transferring between licenses on the same model / in the same region is difficult and constrained enough, and doubly complicated if you aren't transferring between accounts on one machine: going between localized platform versions, I can't imagine there's much hope without something of an involved technical work around. I can't imagine that once region-locked that you can load accounts from multiple regions on the same machine either, so that further restrains options, both when it comes to built-in features and work arounds. If you a find a legitimate methodology, I'd be very curious to hear about it.

But honestly, I think your best bet is to rebuild your creations. Though I am aware that doing so could necessitate an additional playthrough of the game's story content, and personally, I'd rather blow my brains out. Which is why I never unlocked content again on the PC version like I originally anticipated, even though this would make sharing CaS much easier and more optimal. I started playing (and creating CaS) on the PS4 version because that was where the easiest and most stable matches were. Then the competitive game slipped from the most important thing for me, to the second, behind CaS (for the first time in my history of playing these games, going back to SoulBlade, just because of what SCVI did and didn't do very well, in my book). And the competitive scene dried up in record time anyway. So now I'm stuck on a subpar system with a bunch of characters that I can't play on PC and for which I can only get low rest native pictures. Ai-yai-yai, these companies don't make this shit easy on us, do they, the way they have carved up all the content and the experiences?

On the other hand, I will say this: if you aren't like me and don't retch in your mouth just a little at the thought of playing through all of SCVI's content again, the process of recreating your creations can actually by quite fun: you will find yourself reconsidering decisions in light of your experience and an end up with much more polished--or just variant--versions of your custom cast. I've done it with past titles in the series.
